How to apply for a job.

Applying for jobs can be time consuming and emotionally draining. There is so much effort in searching for jobs, adapting CV’s, cover letters and filling in application forms for each job found. I have been on both sides of the boat with applying for jobs and getting CV’s/ cover letters from people looking for jobs. Therefore, I have created this post in order to help those who are struggling in the job market. Searching for a job You can look for a job by having a walk through your nearest shopping centre and looking at shop windows. Usually there is a sign in the window that informs of any vacancies or you can always ask a member of staff. If you have purposely gone in to look for jobs make sure you have some CV’s handy with you. If you are searching online have a look at job websites and narrow down your search by choosing options such as job title, location, distance, full-time/part-time and expected salary. Growing up as a child you are surrounded by influencers, whether it is your family, friends or the media. As you grow, you learn through life and find out who you are. You look to people that you know, see how they act, what they wear, what they eat and what they do. Back when I was a child there was no social media, you could only be influenced by the people around you or what you might have seen occasionally on tv or magazines. Social Media appeared when I was a teenager and it came about sites like Myspace, Bebo and MSN. They were the go to places to talk with friends, express yourself through profiles and music choices. You could not help to compare yourself to what you saw, heard or lived. Parents would teach you how to behave around people – to a certain degree it would help with personal growth to go out into the outside world.  I cannot believe that I stopped blogging for this long. When life gets in the way and you are just trying to stay afloat. A lot has happened these past couple of years and I have realised that I want my blogging to be able to do so much more than just moaning and documenting my life. I want it to be a place where for those who feel lost, need help, need advice or just a place to pass the time.
